I just converted my pansat 2500a to PUFF, i scanned 110 and 119 without a problem and when i went to scan 91 my receiver shuts off by itself. I never had that problem with 2500a, then i converted to B75 and never had a problem either. Can anyone help me. Thanks.

Make sure you renumber your Bev channels. If you don't the channel numbers for dish and bev will interfere with each other.

As long as you turn on the renumbering Bev option in menu, it will work either way. At least it will on a C00lsat.

RDG..not sure what you mean by renumbering. I never had to do that. Anyway i found out that i can use Anik F1, i just changed the frequency and was able to scan 91.

On a C00lsat if you go to options in your menu you will see renumbering bev, renumbering local channels, along with several other options. When you turn on this feature it ads 1000 to all of your bev channels. 50 becomes 1050 and 100 becomes 1100 etc.

2500a has its own special rules. Special like the olimpics!

RDG..pansat 2500a doesn't have that option. Anyway now that i use Anik to scan 91 it's not so bad. I have a BUD so i scanned a few more KU band satellites like H2, SBS6, Galaxy 28, 26 25 and a couple of others and everything is fine, so the only problem i have is using Nimiq. I don't want to delete all my channels just to rescan BEV first and see if it works so i'll leave everything the way it is for now. Thanks to everyone for the help.

"pansat 2500a doesn't have that option."
However, Pansat 2500 and conversions have the option of renumbering alphabetically, by SID, by TP and by Sat.
For example, if you sort alphabetically first and then sort by sat, you get each sat list arranged alphabetically within the sat.
You can also selectively renumber a channel and rename a channel.
In practice the different sort options, give a very good flexibility. Even the ease with which you can select favourites is certainly better than that of doing it on a Sonicview 4000.
