would be a good idea to download a fresh free copy of winrar and unzip it
then download a bin at the desktop and hit unzip here and see what happens

Cartier1:
I am not exactly sure what you mean by "Logo Explorer but here goes...
Bins are usually opened with a loader, specific to your receiver like "BLACKLIST UPDATER.EXE" for the Pansats. However, you may be using Windows Explorer to unzip the bin and locate it in the same directory as the loader so that the .bin can be found by the loader easily. You might also be using Windows Explorer to find and execute the loader if there is no shortcut available. You could also use "My Computer" do all this instead, in fact there are lots of ways to run the thing.
I might of course have the wrong end of the stick altogether, in which case I apologise, perhaps someone else can explain it. If you could supply more details it would also be helpful.

Install winrar and use that, this the best unzip. Never opening with Explorer that corrupt files.
When you install it just to make unzip by default. Double clic on and slip the unzip file where you went

The files get associated with Explorer. If they get associated with Internet explorer it is undesireable.
Using winrar or winzip to unzip, you will cure th eproblem. In fact new association will be saved as soon as you install one of these.

thank you gentelmen. actually this happen to my friend that he opened a bin using explorer and everything as nalin said was associated with explorer now . it does not matter if u install fresh copy of winzip or winrare. when u unzip them the bins carry the logo of explorer, so he never was able to flash it to his stb.

im mot sure what way to clean up the explorer from his bins .

i tried to go to recovery and set his computer to a recovery point before this things happen to him but without success.

the last thing to do is format and install an other copy of windows but we are trying to avoid that ,
again thanx for your response guys and hopefully someone with great idea will provide his help ,

Try to uninstall winrar in program manager
and delete in C:program files the winrar file

Download and install Regcleaner on this site:
http://www.clubic.com/telecharger-fiche10573-regcleaner.html
on upper bar choose "tool"and "registry cleanup" and "do them all
choose all item with Ctlr+C and delete in right lower corner
Now reinstall Winrar, it supposed to ask you if you went winrar by default and you do

It supposed to work now.

My syster had same problem with is XP

No i try to solution some problem on double channel on viewsat, i found that because the frquency assigned by the bin is not the same like blind scan.
we just to choose this channel on both one after the other and that come automatically delete one of two. because we have some post on it.
It's not really a problem
autoscan give me 133 channel
blind scan give me 351 channel
It's better to blind scan

because Nalin say dont do blind scan.

Plymouth: I have always advocated Blind Scan in preference to other types of scans.
Apparently there has been a No-No on Blind Scan on Viewsat Ultra for quite a while - I don't know when and how it started, but it did originate from somebody very reliable here. Since I do not have a Viewsat Ultra, i just accepted the information.
If you are saying Blind Scan works and is OK, I will accept that.

When we do a autoscan we scan just the TP is furnish by the bin and in the sat freq tp, if this info are change by provider like polirarisation the scan dont see these channels and you lost some channel.

When you do a blind scan all freq is scan on "V" and "H and each channel too.
Thats why all channel is found on this one

Thanks
