How essential is grounding your dish and switch. I'm living in an apartment on the third floor, what is the recommended grounding when my superdish and dp34 switch located on the patio? Would running a wire from the switch the the patio metal fence/frame adequate?
Dustin Ground is need for static and interference, if dish is in lower position. If hight position you must protect it for lighting flash(i dont know if good word) that protect your equipment.
Thanks for the info. When I unplugged the coaxial cable going into the receiver, I can feel a good buzz on my hand when touching the tip of the coaxial cable, is this due to not grounding the DP34 switch? It never felt this strong current going thru the cable when I was using a SW21.
