Now I am not expert here and dont know much. But whatever i read time ago is simply if you are on west canada u gets 148 programming if you are on east you gets 61.5.

Now i am just baffled by some of questions and answers on few threads last few days here.
some guys who does have 148 asks whether i can get so and so channel which is currently available on 61.5. AND FEW SO CALLED GOLD MEMBERS tells him to move dish from 148 to 61.5.
in my view it is just plain stupid either i dont know anything or the gold member with 2000-2500 posts dont know simple facts after thousands of post.

I will request senior guys like LK or king or doreen or anyone to explain this correctly and put all angles in perspective.thks

if you are going for new installation go with a 30" or larger dish and get 119.110 and 118.7 on one dish.first you only have 1 dish and eventually 61.5 will move to 118.7
don't get involved with 148
118.7 will give you internationals

Munna,
i know you like cricket,so if you install bev then this is what you should do,i have this set up'
get a 5 gallon bucket and a pole from home depot and a bag of concrete.mount the pole in the bucket and aim at 82 and adjust elevation, and scan
then when dn is down and bev is up move you dish slightly to the right (standing behind dish) and adjust elevation and you got 91.it is great
my set up is
dish 1 on roof with 119 and 110
dish 2 on roof with 61.5
dish 3 on ground (portable) with 82 and 91

DrMunna, You have clear all the doubts about getting sats signal in west canada. Great work. I don,t know about others but I'm having trouble understanding Lyngsat. If you know can you tell me in west u.s and west canada, apart from dn 110,119,148 bev's 91,82 what other sats are available with 18 or 20 inchs dish?

well what i heard its amount of tp's a dish can keep, that's why they are different channels on different dish...
but they should remove some stupid channels and add international channels as they added international channnels to 61.5...

Yes it's possible to receive all, look where i come from . Just buy a bigger like 36" and a good lnb. I have 33" and may receive all but i have some three 50' high inthe direction of 148.
this summer i must relocated, presently i receive 119 directly in three (No leaf)
