I have a viewsat xtreeme, I had to do a factory default, then I loaded the new factory bin, and then the latest bin. I have been trying to add the channels through blind scan or auto scan, but when I do a blind scan, it never asks me if I want to save the changes, so no channels get loaded. And when I do an auto scan, it asks if I want to change, but there are no channels to be saved, so I still have no channels.
My dishes are at 119.0 and 61.5.
Can someone tell me how to add the channels. Thanks
This is my antenna setting Satellite > Echostar 3 61.5 and Echostar 7 119 LNB Power = ON LNB Type = Standard LNB Freq = 11250 22KHz = Off TP Freq = 12326 - 12224 DiseqC = None Motor = Off Legacy SW = None
Reinput the correct antenna settings ....corresponding to your hardware configuration with the sats, LNB's, cables, switch type, and switch ports..
The receiver has no clue what u have or did on the roof, thats why U need to tell it, with correct receiver antenna/dish settings..and there is NO standard settings and NO "1 shoe fits all"..U gotta go look on the roof and see whats up there and how its all configured...thats why U ALWAYS WRITE THEM DOWN AND SAVE THEM...unless U like climbing..FTA 101
I changed the port setting, I auto scanned 119, and I got the channels on the list, but I don't have any picture or sound, it says searching signal. I have the latest bins loaded.
U may have a dish out of alignment or bad cable, or connection...or bad antenna/dish settings
U may need to just wait a few minutes while the DN keys change now...or manually input them with AR off...U may need to do a simple rear switch reboot...
and if none of this is making sense, then U need to hit the manuals and do some basic reading..
U need to provide alot more info...beginning with if this ever worked for ya..
Is your auto roll on Yo loaded the latest bin that's what yo said But my question to yo is: - What is the bin yo loaded? - What type of Sat combiner do yo have?
