COOLS*T 5000 DISH 33" pointing to 61.5 Echostar West LNB two in one 118-119
I am asking for HELP since two weeks. NO ONE has been able to help me. I scan 119 Echostar 7 and receive LOTS & LOTs of Indian Channels
I tried to Scan 118.8 But NO American Channels appeared....
My Receiver is Set as follows. Satellite.............. 119 Echostar 7 LNB POWER................ON LNB TYPE.......(change SINGLE into)UNIVERSAL LNB Freq ..........9.750/10.600 22KHz ..............Auto DisSeqc ............1.0 Commited.............4 Legacy SW...........OFF. LEVEL & QUality are GREEN above 90%
I tried to Set the same for the 118.8 DISH Anik f3... BUT the QUALITY and LEVEl is giving me RED BARS....
Is 119 supposed to catch East Indian channels?? Is 118.8 supposed to catch AMERICAN CHANNELS??
If YES.. WHY AM I NOT ABLE TO HAVE AMERICAN CHANNELS..WHERE HAS GONE FOR EXAMPLE: Discovery health, animals, teletoon, PBS. FOX, Discovery travel, food channels etcc etcc etccccccccc......
MKM: First of all, try and understand that 118.7 and 119 are coming from the same LNB and 61.5 (Echo 3) is coming from another LNB. The usual way they are attached to your receiver is through a switch and again usually you physically connect the 118/119 LNB to Port 1 and 61.5 LNB to port 3 or 4, and set it the same way in your Antenna set up. Next thing to know is that with that special LNB, you scan 118.7 using LNB freq in the lower values and TP frequency of 11715 V as you have done and you scan the 119 using 11250 as the LNB frequency and TP frequency of 12224 V I had directed your attention to the following URL. Although it is in the Viewsat Ultra section, it does give some understanding. You DON'T have to set up 129 separately as suggested, but might consider doing it if you want to.
