I have been using my viewsat xtreme for a few months now with no problems. I switched it for a few days with my captain 8000HD and when i went back to viewsat and put the new file (PFTAUSW-080301U) on i am having problems.
My signal and strength on my 91 and 82 are fine and it continuously says AUTOROLL PROCESSING but nothing happens. Is consantly autorolling and i dont know how to fix that and get a picture.
No wonder you had problems. You loaded a viewsat ultra fix into a viewsat extreme receiver. Always load the viewsat file with an 'x' at the end into a viewsat extreme. All you need do is load the correct file and you'll be ok. No need to do anything else
Hey guys, im new here.I have the Viewsat Xtreme and on the bottom right hand side of the screen where the letter S is located it says 21, on the right side of the pic of the dish it reads 00. How do I fix this?

Sorry Gus How many dish you have? that what i went to said. Change lnb type and see if you have better signal. and change LNB freq 12224 for 12239 and if you have only one dish and one lnb you set diseq Port 1 for "none" Good luck
Gus difficult for me to help you, if i ask to you how many dish you have , i went to know if you have a diseq switch because this maybe busted The satellite work fine the problem com with new bin or for nothing?
plymouth.......you have to unsderstand that settings are not a trial and error scenario.......if you have a dish pro LNB then LNB Type is OCS-DP......otherwise it should be standard.......also TP freq (not LNB freq) is 12239 for sat 119 (12224 for sat 110)........LNB freq is 11250....he was not losing no freqs.......be careful......

Jayson if you read all post, you can see it's very difficult to help newbie because dont know nothing(wich dish,lnb,etc) I can not agree with you, trial and error help everybody to learning

I don't think Gus had problems with settings at all......if he has poor signal and no quality it should be dish aligment problem.....all I'm telling you is that I've seen you are helping a lot of people here......that's fine....but no everything is problems with settings and that you should be careful with settings.....each sat, LNB, system , has it's own settings......I don't think there's room for trial and error.....and I think you should use loader 2 for VS....I've seen that you are using PVR loader.....regards
Jayson last week my box bust and off on off on by itself and i tried with :VSPRO Loader - (Firmware Updater ( Serial) )and work the chip is the same but the program is different. I know know each sat lnb has it's own settings. Jayson i have 33" fortec dish, motor and invacom circular/liner lnb i know how set. I think more complicated. i accept your opinion Bye i go to work now
