To All, I have a question to ask... If I load the factory file - VS2000 Platinum & Lite Factory Bin File - V0278, will that wipe all clean? Now, if I were to create a back-up on another Platinum, but load it into the first Platinum, essentially I should have 2 identical stb's right? Anyone? nub.
sorry... If I have another Platinum in another city, the lnb is set-up for optimal receiving... if I create a backup file with Platinum# 2... After loading that backup file into Platinum #1(in the other city), will I have successfully created a duplicate stb? with the same channel listing? nub.
receiver is not a PC...just how do u create a "backup file" on a receiver?
there is no purpose to your question...only thing U can do is program each receiver seperately...or have them physically together and transfer data from master to slave using the serial cable
ok... picture this, if you have loader2 you have the option to go = stb -> pc, a way to backup info stored on the stb as explained by FTA TESTER... months ago. Now, say that you and I both have a VS-EXTREME, I use a sat-finder to get (100% signal & 100% quality), and I can pull in say, 1000 channels... If I create a stb -> pc file(backup) that contains the info I saved needed to get those 1000 channels. Now, If you also use a sat-finder to get 100% signal & 100% quality. Would you get the same 1000 channels I get? nub.
Sada i think you may upload data with loader from Viewsat but i dont try. On prog we see upload from and download for my VS ultra i used : PVR Loader v11 - Firmware Updater ( Serial)
