Can someone please tell me what are the correct settings for Echostar 8,10 and Echostar 7. This is my setup: ( I am in northern, michigan, DN is what I am trying to get.)

Viewsat Ultra Reciever
Latest March 2, bin
Dish 500 sat dish
Dishpro lnbf (sat. cable connected to input 1)
I have no diseq switch because I was told the Dishpro lnbf automatically switches from 119 to 110. (Echostar 8,10 and Echostar 7)

What would my setting be for Ecostar 8,10 (110):
(please fill in answers)
LNB Power:
LNB Type:
LNB Freq:
22Khz:
TP Freq:
DiSEqC:
Motor:
Legacy SW:

What would be my settings for Ecostar 7 (119)
please fill in answers:

Thank you for your time. My signal reading for sat is 86 and Q is 72 but I am getting no picture and I am trying to troubleshoot why?

Does the 3 /4 switch on the back of the receiver have anything to do with anything? I am only using 1 receiver so I wouldn't think that would mean anything?

Thank you, I may have found my problem, I had the lnb type as standard. Thank you! I will let you know if this corrects the reason I cannot connect to sat.

I am double posting this message from another thread that I had started so that people looking at this thread may benefit from this.

Hi to LK and Metallica, thank you so much for your help. Together we finally got my sister's satellite working. I tell ya, I've been trying to help her the last month with this and finally it is working. It looks like by the antenna info Metallica sent to me worked by changing the diseq ports to the right ports and the lnbf to the right setting. Plus as another precaution we turned the receiver off for 2-3 minutes per LK's instruction and then turned it on again. Both of you really helped me and I appreciate it so much! Thank you Thank You Thank YOu!

WRITE down and SAVE the antenna settings...they change by themselves sometimes....especially after loading a new file...

also ,always do a reboot BOTH BEFORE and AFTER loading a new file..

these are the 2 biggest mistakes by people..

good luck
