on my colsat5000 my level quality keeps coming in and out. but the weather outside is fine. i was wondering would that be from my dish or from the receiver or cause the file is about to go down? i dont get it. and like 2 channels come in really good but the others dont. i have a dish 500. only the international dish though. and i scan 91.0 Nimiq 1,3 to receive my channels. my freq is set at [1]12.224 GHZ, symbol rate is 20.000 MS/s, polarization V, do i need to change anything??

Ferrari, try: LNB-Type = OSC-DP, Freq = 11250, also you should assign disecq ports to the dish's internal switch (I think port 1 is sat 91 and port 2 is sat 82).

Then try to re-aim your dish.

Actually I have a CS5000 and my signal strength has been coming in an out all day too. And right now it's basically at zero on all of the channels, and it was completely fine a couple of minutes ago (plus the weather outside is beautiful). So I'm thinking it might not be your dish alignment...

I find it hard to believe it can be a hardware issue when it's perfectly fine one minute and then gone another, and then back again for several hours and then goes out again.. That doesnt really make any sense. Especially when it's happening to more than one person with the same reciever. Doesn't that seem a little too ironic just to be a hardware issue? I dunno maybe I'm completely wrong, but it'd be interesting to know what's happening with the other CS5000's out there..
