I have 4 birds setup from Dish Netowrk legally. 1->echo 7 (119) 2-> echo 8,10(110) 3->129(for HD) 4-> 148(for South Asian channels). I'm not getting any South Asian channels on my viewsat. So I think If any one can post their TP and lnb frequency for South Asian Channels. I tired Auto/Blind Scan on 148,119. Did not get on any one.? If some one post their TP and lnb Freq then I can add that and do Scanning accordingly. I think any 118/119/148 bird will work
A) Scroll to Edit TP/Satellite press (OK) B) Scroll to bottom you will see the word NEW press (OK) C) On this board highlite one character at a time and press (OK) when you finish entering these characters, if it looks like this Anik F3/Ku ..press (OK)should be at the bottom next to del. next you will see this.

LK, Right now I don't have ANIK installed at all. Why can't I get those channels in either 110/119/148 bird? Can i get Anik with current settings. What Bird Do I use for Anik ? What are antenna setting for that?
So how do I use this I went to Lyngsat website I saw as 12224 R TP 1 and then I select {P} from there where I got a to see all channels. But now they have their Freq and TP and VPID and etc. So now what I'm supposed to do. I have Viewsat Ultra. I went to Antenna Setup and then select Channel setup and went to 119 and selected 12224 Freq but then I get nothing
basically, people are doing it in three different ways here, for it to work on my vs, I modified the 121 instead of add new sat or modify 119.
either ways, you will need to add tp 11715 to your tp list, and change the lnb freq to 10750. if you don't get any s/q there, chances are probably not gonna get much. you do the scan from that tp, vs will able to scan in about 27 transponders, and it will take it from there to scan in more.
Add U do is add a new satellite..U can call it Mad Llea, if ya want...then add the TP's and the TP info from Anik 3 at lyngsat..then scan it...
just do as I posted above,... above is just naming the NEW sat Anik 3 (which it treally is) ...but U can name it anything U want...but U must enter all the TP's and their frequencies and other info, to the NEW sat...then scan it

I dunno if you really need to enter all TPs, some post out there said need at least 5 TPs, I did mine with only 11715, and able to get 27 transponders in and will able to scan in the channels from there. btw, I did not do blind scan, just auto channel scan.
this question for LK , i have vs pro and 61.5, how i can add a new channel on my cw600 i have satrplus and on my vs pro no , i tried to ad new channel but could not any help ,
Ok found out. There was not issue. Basically I had DIS Eqc installed. so one output was going to Dish and other to Viewsat. When I removed dish cable and DISc EQc switch. I was able to scan and got back south asian channels. And from this point it looks like the signal really weaks if I do that way. Or else I have watch removing that switch and DISH receiver from this point onwards. Thanks everyone,
