mar-vel one of two possible reasons:
1- Try different types of your lnb.
a- standard 10750
b- standard 10600
c- universal 9750/10600
d- universal 9750/10750
2- fine tune your dish direction.

I have a universal (type c above) and if I set it wrongly to d, I miss some of and not all the TPs.

Q: How do I get the Arabic channels?

A: Use one of the dish systems below. For the most part any of the satellite dish systems below works to pick up the free Arabic TV stations. In all the different systems, the satellite dish and the LNB are the same. The difference in the system is the receiver.

Q: What's the difference between the receivers?

A: The difference between the receivers is the features and functions of each receiver and the quality of the material used to manufacture each satellite receiver. Our basic system is $149.00. This has all the standard features and will work fine if you are just trying to pick up picture and sound. However, if you like to have functions like blind search / Power Scan / Smart Search / Smart Scan, you may want to spend about $20 or $30 more and upgrade your satellite receiver. Not only will you get a receiver with a better feature, but you'll also get a better quality FTA receiver.

Q: Can I watch Aghapy and the Arabic channels above with 1 dish?

A: Yes. You actually have 2 options if you'd like to do that.

1. Take a look at a motorized systems. These are great systems to use if you want to obtain signal from multiple satellites. Since Aghapy broadcasts from the Galaxy 26 satellite and the rest of the Arabic channels broadcast from the Galaxy 25 satellite, you would need to turn your dish from one satellite to another. Don't worry, you do not have to turn your motor and adjust it every time you want to switch between them. Once installed and programmed properly, the motor will automatically turn as soon as you change channels. The advantage of a motorized dish is that you can pick up signal from more than just the two satellites. You can turn your dish and pick up multiple satellite for literally thousands of free channels.

2. Your other option is to use a 90cm dish along with a multiple LNB bracket, get a second LNBF, then get a 4X1 DiSEqC switch. You will then attach the bracket and LNB to the dish and adjust the bracket to lock in the satellite signal. Considering you have probably spent close to the same time and adjusted the LNBF bracket to lock in your second satellite signal, and you have spent close to the same amount of money on parts, recommendation would be to go with option 1. Get a Motor, and you will bring thousands of channels to your home for free.

Q: What is Blind Search?

A: All the satellite channels are being broadcasted via transponders. Each transponder carries a certain amount of TV and Radio Channels. In order for a normal receiver to be able to scan the channels from a satellite, it must have the transponder programmed into the receiver. Each transponder has 4 specifications.

1. Frequency

2. Symbol Rate

3. Polarity

4. Forward Error Correction (FEC)

In most receivers the FEC is automatically set by the receiver, so you don't have to worry about inputting that in the receiver. You do however need to input the other 3 specifications, then scan in the transponder for the channels.

In case of a blind search / blind scan receiver, the receiver will search the satellite and automatically find the 4 specifications of the transponder. Therefore, you will always have the latest channels that are being broadcasted off of the satellite. Once new transponders are available, all you do is just scan your satellite receiver. The receiver will re-program itself with all the up to date transponder frequency, symbol rate, polarity, and FEC.
