just got done installing the set last night.

i would say these are very nice sounding components. it doesn't have the flashy looks of the $500+ component sets but performs just as good.

tweeter.....its a silk tweeter and yet it sounds very crisp and fairly sharp. it has the smootheness of a silk tweeter at the same time some characteristics of an aluminum tweeter.

mid.........very nice and the mid bass out of these are very clean. i can actually turn the sub off and get some good bass out of these. well you know what i mean. lol.

xover.........the imaging is very nice and precise. only drawback is that it don't have the option to do a + or - on the tweeter.

if i had to compare this set to something, i would say my focal utopias. yes its that nice. i am sure you can get components that are really expensive that will easily out perform these, but for the price of this set, i doubt anything can touch it.

over all i would give this set 9 out of 10. thats only because the xover don't have that tweeter control. the way i set up my components in my car, that is important to me.

chad if you want the plus minus on the tweeter just add an lpad...if you can get it to just affect the tweets and not the mids (im not sure but thought id suggest it)

well i need it mainly for timing correction. since i install my tweeters up high. but its still good.

rovin, i used to think that you have to spend tons of money on components to have that clean sound. i am beginning to think that isn't the case. lol.

I havent experimented with mids and highs yet but I also believe thats true for subwoofers chad (clean and loud)

you need to contact steve miller or kevin holden for the price. they will give you a better deal than the msrp.
