If you're a competitor, then you may want to put less impedance on your amp to get more power. With regards to amplitude, someone said that they wired their subs down to a lower impedance and it was just as loud as before due to the decrease in torque from the paralleled coils. Higher impedances are much easier on your amp as well. The damping factor increases too. |
