As some of you know my dad has been sick for a while now, he's been fighting cancer and heart problems for 7-8 years plus. Yesterday I visited him after not having time the past day or two, and he was really bad.
Well at 2:00 am (here on the east coast) I got the call from my brother that he died. I was there by 2:15, waited for hospice to pronounce him, and the funeral home picked him up around 4:00. I just wanted to pay him respect, and let the few of you who would come to the funeral know to give me a call- as I don't know I'll think to call everyone. Thanks a lot. R.I.P. Dec 7 1937- Feb 25 2008.
damn bro sorry to hear that. well just look at it as he's in a better place now n not strugglin with pain everyday nemore now. best of luck to u n ur family.
Hey Troy, Sorry to hear of your loss!! Know he is better off now and out of pain! My Dad died of the same Dec 2, 2007 I spent the last 3 months with him. It's still hard adjusting to him not being here, spend as much time with your family and friends as you can, to keep our mind off it and build your relationships with them around you! Take care Troy, p.s. go get checked a full MRI I did as soon as we found out about my Dad's cancer. I have 6mm in my right lung and 5mm in my liver. So go talk to your doctor.
Troy, Sorry to hear about your loss. I can't say how you must feel at this time only to say that I know in some part how you must feel as I too suffered a loss when my mother pasted away last September from cancer.
im sorry to hear that buddy being irish we dont morn death we just celebrate their life i hope you can do the same he cant be any happier than where he is right now
That's awful, man. At least it wasn't something that was really sudden though. You know your father is in a better place and his pain is gone now. I'll put you in my prayers.
Sorry man. My grandad died a few years back and he was like a second father to me. I will say it again. You're gotta remember the good times you had man. One day you will meet back up and things will be better than they ever have been before.
Thanks so much for everyones support, it means the world right now. I'm 22 man, I hate to think of all the time lost you know? He was 70 though, so he had a fair amount of time. I'm doing pretty good with it- just trying to help my mom.
Quentin sorry to hear my grandpa past a way today at 2:15 am
Sorry for your loss as well. Just so much to do, It's costing about 10,000 just to put him in the ground. Damn money grubbers at the funeral homes and all. The cheapest casket is 1200, and it's like a coke can with a hinge- primer gray flat and rough. It's 2k just to have a respectable casket your not ashamed to bury a guy in. No one will ever see it again, but they get you when you're down for sure.
hey troy i am very very truthfully sorry for your loss. It is very hard when someone passes with something like that. But i can almost guarantee you he is much happier now. My mom died of breast cancer when i was 3.5 as many know here. Trust me it will get easier.
P.S cancer blows worst thing in the world, rips families apart to early
wow dude... im really sorry to hear that... we are all here for you if you ever need to talk, most of these guys were here when my bro died and they helped alot
