I am replacing my computer, and the new one will not have the com ports like that I currently use, I would like to know what are my options??? VS Ultra uses usb... Is a usb to RS232/DB9 pinout a possible solution??? Also, seeing as loader 2 lists only com ports as a source, is there another loader that I should get??? Thanks for any input, nub.
sorry, I was not clear. I have a Platinum & xtream so I do not have that choice of using a usb... I was thinking of getting a usb to DB9 cable to transfer files. but, I forsee issues with the software side of things because Loader2 does not list usb as an option. Thanks, nub.
Sometime I wish I had kept my old 386 desktop. Not just for the old hardware connections but for some of the older software. Find a small space in the basement for your old receiver.
