Gold Member Username: KirankumarKenya Post Number: 1555 Registered: Oct-07 | these guys make a lot of money marketing receivers, the cost to manufacture a box in Korea is less than $25 including shipping to NA. they just don't spend enough money on support. recently my cs 7000 died,so i had to send it in shipping cost $ 29 and i had to send another $ 29 to have it shipped back.it has been over 5 weeks now and i still haven't seen the box.i guess that is gone and so has my $ 59 |

I made an exception with a recent purchase of a radar detector, because it was a Xmas gift, and my son wanted the light in blue NOT RED..couldn't be RED...LOL..as it didn't match his alarm and all other LED lighting in his vehicle. There was only one place to buy it locally, but that had the FORBIDDEN red LED, so I bought it out of state from the manufacture. However, I know it's not always possible to do that. Another year, I bought him a PDA from an online site in our state, a little bit out of the way. But, I did just in case there was a problem with it. I made sure it could be returned in person first, before the purchase. Luckily, I did it that way, because it had to be returned within a day. |
