Tuesday, February 12, 2008 - 23:51 GMT wrong....L7s are cheap SPL...they are no were near as loud as the subs i mentioned...of course you can make more subs get louder then 1 sub...but then youll be competing against ppl that have 5 good spl subs... his best bet is to have two twelves..and compete with those...itll be loud as fawk either way...its all about install..Alan dante proved that

Wednesday, February 13, 2008 - 14:02 GMT you know i was thinking of the hdc3 12 too for the money that would be a good idea since you probably cant touch a juggernaut for anywhere near its price and you already have a good idea what the hdc 12 will do in your vehicle...if your serious about this get yourself a meter...also your stock alt size is probably 95 amps but could be as high as 130 amps...If you want a sub that will work well with your stock alternator do a audioque sd 2.5 12...we hit a 145.3 db on the termlab with one on 750 rms in a burp box and im pretty sure with a new box we can hit more...if your not going to upgrade your alternator you wont be able to take full advantage of the hdc312 and might struggle to beat the 2.5 12 without causing voltage issues from what ive seen out of my bro's once stock 130 amp alt.
