It seems, from price, that these companies are all competing in the same market space. As I don't have dealers for some of these I'd like any opinions, etc. please. For example the Diamond S600a, the Focal 165KP, the CDT ET-62i, and the Hybrid Legatia L61-2 all MSRP in the 700 range. All I've had a chance to hear are the Focals. The others do not have dealers in my area, Washington DC metro.

Are they the same which do you prefer, etc.

Thanking all in advance.
Mike

just a question ewok, since i've seen you posting quite a bit about focal lately (and please don't take this as offensive....it's just a question).....it's come off that you've never heard CDT before...have you had a listen, and have you given them a chance?

secondly, have you heard diamond? im not going to line the companies up and rank them since everyone's tastes are different....but some of the speakers arent necessarily on a level playing field. just a thought.

Bravox are total SQ speakers. DIYers use them.

no i havent heard of how those CDT sounds like, and i admit, but i heard good stuff about them, but i have listen to diamond though and i think denmarks "dynaudio" has better sq because my cousin has it. well im just gonna stick to my focal 165 a1 access, its not the best but focal comp happens to be my taste

thats cool, most people wouldn't even own up to that so props to you. its cool to rep products you like, just make sure not to bash ones you haven't heard (not saying you did).

I highly recommend the Diamond S600S.

Ewok, I have heard the Mark Levinson systems they are putting in the higher end Lexus's and they sound amazing.
