Gold Member Username: NydasPost Number: 7904 Registered: Jun-06 | There is a lot of confusion and wrong information being given. This is C/P from Fwank7 who modified the BINs and created the two jvvh_248 BINs. C/P From fwank7................ For peps that are confused on what bin you should choose and It's all in the "REMOTE CONTROL" you have. The only one this really one this really affects and changes is for Pansat 2500 Remote users. Yes your remote will still work but you need to use the Jvvh_FortecRemote bin thats all. Pansat 2500 remote = Jvvh_FortecRemote bin Fortec remote = Jvvh_FortecRemote bin Pantec remote = Jvvh_FortecRemote bin Pansat 2700 remote = Jvvh_PansatRemote bin,: Sorry all but I still see peps getting confused Hope this clears it up. Sorry do to new mods in BL bins this is the way it will be until told otherwise. |

Just make the right choice. Most conversion STBS will work with the Fortec Remote BIN by any author, unless you have a Pansat 2700 remote. Only then do you need to select PansatRemote BIN by jvvh or anybody else. |
Silver Member Username: GmanrusPost Number: 108 Registered: Dec-07 | Which one do I need to use if I have Pansat 2500a conv. to Pansat 2700????? Thank u for being patient... |
Gold Member Username: NydasPost Number: 7907 Registered: Jun-06 | G-MANrus: I thought Fwank7 had made it very clear. Pansat 2500 remote = Jvvh_FortecRemote bin or CS_248T_lightning |
Silver Member Username: GmanrusPost Number: 109 Registered: Dec-07 | Yeah, it's clear but it doesn't say that Pansat 2500 remote = Jvvh_FortecRemote bin or CS_248T_lightning for Pansat 2500a conv. to Pansat 2700 right? That's why I asked u. I installed jvvh_pansat248 and my remote controll doesn't work, but I have picture. |
Bronze Member Username: RoundtreePost Number: 29 Registered: Jun-06 | what is the difference between Jvvh_FortecRemote bin or CS_248T_lightning bin i have a pansat 2500 clone converted to pansat 2700. |
Silver Member Username: PsychmonsterRhodium MemberAint nuthin ... Post Number: 690 Registered: Jul-06 | I addressed this 3 days.... they are all interchangable..JVVH and CS fortec and pansats bins all are basically the same although JVVH has been more dependable lately and may be modded better... |
Gold Member Username: NydasPost Number: 7909 Registered: Jun-06 | IntTex and G-MANrus : I will repeat once more: Most conversion STBS will work with the Fortec Remote BIN. Same applies to using CS_248T_lightning. It is essentially a FortecRemote BIN Only under special circumstances you would need a 248 Bin made for Pansat Remote, because that BIN is made for a Pansat 2700 remote. |

Gold Member Username: NydasPost Number: 7913 Registered: Jun-06 | We are talking about matching Remotes with BINs. it matters 2 hoots what your STB was. A remote is the thing you hold in your hand to control the receiver. |

BINDURABLE Post Number: 2137 Registered: Dec-06 | I used the nikk bin ,as the other screwup the 247 with the remote problems, then nikk came out with his bin firts 247 bin and also it was better than the others bins, ,from now on , I will sticks to it, go to the hispanish only forum and look for the link or ask for it. more than 24 hours without problems. |
Gold Member Username: NydasPost Number: 7922 Registered: Jun-06 | 247 BIN was a passing phase. The more stable BIN is 248, and the jvvh_FortecRemote_248 or CS_248T_lightning works with most Remotes. If you have a Pansat 2700 remote, use the jvvh_PansatRemote_248 |
New member Username: GeeksqaudPost Number: 4 Registered: Feb-08 | I see why there's confusion. Genuine Pansat 2500a owners don't want to use a "Fotec" bin. Maybe they should name the bins differently. I think I'm going to buy 2700 remote for my 2500a convert. There are more buttons on it. |
Bronze Member Username: Post_manPost Number: 43 Registered: Nov-07 | I have no Problem with my Pansat remote. Since I flash Bin 248 I have lost Galaxy 25 at 97 and few other channels, I had no problem with Bin 245. I have tried different Bins and different loaders from different websites. Can anyone out there help? btw what loader do one use with what Bin? |
Gold Member Username: NydasPost Number: 7952 Registered: Jun-06 | Always use BL updater 1.4 with all BINs for conversions. |
Silver Member Username: ImnycusaPost Number: 114 Registered: Jun-06 | while using BL updater 1.4, what port# is recommended for a USB-DB9 adapter. Thanks. |
Gold Member Username: NydasPost Number: 7999 Registered: Jun-06 | BL Updater will accept a connection on any of the 4 COM ports 1-4. The problem is that you have to set up the driver software of your USB-Serial adpator, using manual installation and also changing though the Device Manager facility of your computer. |
