All,
My TV UHF/VHF board is not working and replacing that is not worth it(fianacially). Luckily I have 5 RCA(RED, YELLOW & White), 1 Component (Red, Green & Blue) and 1 SViideo free on the back of my TV.
My question is does CW600S Premium have a functionality where I can change the video components ? For example I would like to use SVIDEO for satellite and RCA connection for my basic cable By doing this I do not have to use faulty UHF/VHF connection on the back of my TV.
If the answer is yes, than how do I change the SVIDEO to RCA from the remote control. How does the CW600S Pe knows that satelite should be on SVIDEO & cable should be on RCA ?

If the answer is no than any suggestion whould be really helpfull. I do not like to introduce a cable box or a VCR to the equation at this point.

Thank you very much for your help and co-operation

You should be able to use RCA or S-video connections. All you have to do is select the proper TV/Video button on your TV remote or in some cases the AV/SVHS/CVI button. Just keep pushing it until the satellite signal becomes visible on your TV. In some cases you might have showing Video 1, 2, 3, 4 etc. Each one of these will allow the signal to come through. This just provides a path to RCA, S-video and Coaxial output.

Doreen;

The original poster has double posted this question.

The OP question is confusing at best. Basically what the OP wants to know is IF the CW box can do A/V switching in place of his TV which has a fried board.

Answer is NO the CW box is not a A/V switch.

Suggest the OP look into a external A/V switch that has sensor to automatic switch depending on the powered source. Best buy has them.
