Thursday, January 31, 2008 - 02:58 GMT I'm in the market for a new amplifier that does 600w RMS x 1 @ 2 ohms. I've narrowed it down to 2 now and need help deciding which is of better quality all around... Rockford Fosgate Punch P600.1BD Infinity Reference 611a I can get both for around $150 shipped each at DiscountJungle.net. Has anybody had any experience with this Seller? Thanks for the help guys...

Thursday, January 31, 2008 - 10:23 GMT Oh yeah, It says the RF P600.1BD is a BD class amplifier? What exactly is a BD class amplifier? Would it be better than the D class Infinity?

Thursday, January 31, 2008 - 14:01 GMT it's just a class D with some tweaks RF's R&D came up with, they got it patented too. http://www.carsound.com/news/archives/8_17_100_1.shtml Doesn't mean much to the causal consumer IMO, but they are small, under-rated, and really efficient. They're both good amps, but at the same price I'd go RF.
