Lolita,
Always download good known bins from Jvvh or CS. I found that marketrealm.com always have reliable bins and I never had any problems. They still don't have 245 so I wouldn't load it. I'll rather wait a day than screw the box. BTW, Jvvh_244 works for DN.

This question for Nalin. Since you are a rock at this site that keeps some of the normal people here. Can you help me with a problem.
I having a problem getting my pc to connect to a pansat2700a. I have windows xp with no serial port. Just bought a USB to Serial cable from radioshac mdl#26-183. Have com port adjusted on loader to proper port on pc. Loader says down loading but stays @ 0% until failing.
I have not loaded a bin since last FEB. #295. I know I must upgrade to b75 loader but can not connect for results.
Thanks for all your advise and insite over the years!!

lolita: If you have a genuine Pansat BIN use BL87 BINs from
http://www.future-fta.info

If you have a 2500-2700 conversion use the conversion 245 BIN either CS_245T_lightning or jvvh_245. The two types of BINs are NOT interchangeble.

I am not Nalin but I will put in my two cents since he hasn't answered yet....

Firts you must download the driver that came with the adapter, if it didn't come with one you have to go to the website and download it from there.

After that you go to your device manager from your system's properties. click on:

-com ports
-then select your adapter from the list
-right click and go to properties
-then on the top, go to port settings
-click on advance settings
-change the com port to one that is not in use (1 to 4) and then you have to select that same one on the loader.

GOOD LUCK!

bigmix. You probably have a RS232 straight cable.
Get a DB9 M/F adaptor and use it in series with the rest of the cabling.

Nalin. At which point in the series of cables do I put the adapter? In between the USB to seria*l and the null cable? thank you for your reply Nalin and The One.

You can put it anywhere along the line from the computer to the receiver.
Remember I said DB 9 M/F adaptor

This is a very good device to have if you have an unknown cable. With it NOT in the cable remains the original type. With it in, the cable becomes opposite type.
