Saturday, January 26, 2008 - 22:12 GMT I was thinkin a 13w7 but now its gettng hard to find a good used one. I loved how loud and how clean it sounded in a ported box when i heard it. But now i've just heard such good things about SI Mags. Soo...13W7 vs. SI Mag (on 900 rms (3ohms)vs 1350 (1 ohm) respectively) i've decided a Q isn't even in the same league as these two. Which would get louder/sound cleaner/both?

Saturday, January 26, 2008 - 22:56 GMT i'd go with the mag. great sub, cheaper than the w7 by ALOT, and still has great output and sq. and if there's any left, low-hz was selling the remainder of the 15" mags. they had for $375 shipped. if they don't have any, personally i'd go to kluvkustoms. great place to buy from and will definately hook you up with a deal.

Sunday, January 27, 2008 - 22:04 GMT just read a bit about the 9115 sounds nice. Will it sound just as clean as the mag and the w7? i notice its dual 4 ohm and rated at 800 rms, i'd probably be able to give it about 900-1000 watts at 2 ohms. What's the pricetag on that bad boy anyone know?

Monday, January 28, 2008 - 02:41 GMT yea, haha im not getting a 9100 anymore if its 800 bucks... well i wouldnt wanna put 1400 rms on a Q. I was going to do taht but then was told that it wouldn't be the greatest idea. Also, i've read the Q doesn't hit as low as most otehr subs in that range do. Apparently (ive never heard a Q btw) it has great SQ, but the low end isn't great. Not to mention, why get a Q when i could get a Mag, everything i've read points to the Mag being an all around better driver. if you think a Q could be very close to par with a w7, then i'll get a Q but from what i've read, it doesn't get as loud as a W7 or hit as low, etc.
