get viewsat ultra, easiest to set up and you dant have to disconnect system and brring to computer too upgrade software, Just use flashdrive with the usb port. viewsat and pansat come out with the files before anyone else does, most of the time.. Or a pansat 3500, but you cant upgrade thru usb, if you have a real pansat 2700 and not a clone it can come back to life..try fta4dummies

If interested in FTA then get a viewsat ultra, and if you want IKS get nFusion.

I have just bought pvr7000 and I kind of like it. it works great and DVr option is superb. only cost me 250+100 for HDD. but simple receiver would be any viewsat. they have good file support and easy to program.
I still have the fortec and changed to pansat. and still working great.. yeah you will not find them any more..

Newbie here, great forum. I have a dumb question about nfusion: if it's connected to internet and updates automatically, wouldn't others be able to trace where/who you are by looking at your IP address?

Neosat Ipro 2000... runs IKS the same as Nfusion except it is twice the receiver Fusion is, believe me, I own both!

Don't want IKS, go VS Ultra all the way.

Thanks for the quick reply, I'll probably stick with less advanced unit then.
