Can anyone tell me how to figure out how many amps the stock alt puts out. I believe its 120 but still i want to know how to find out. I have a volt meter but i didn't know if that would do any good. if not, what do i need? |

Will I have to upgrade to a 200 amp alt or just do the Big 3 and a fresh yellow in the trunk or should I just do the 3 and a fresh yellow ? Running a ZX 1500 and a ZX 650.4. |

But you don't even need to worry about the battery, it will do fine. HO alternator and big 3 will probably be needed. 120 amps is big for a stock alt though, you could try it and see what happens. |

The big 3 is just changing out your charging systems wiring to a thicker gauge. Alternator to battery positive, alt case to chassis, battery negative to chassis. |
