Thursday, January 17, 2008 - 19:08 GMT I am sure this question will spark much debate but, What is the best direction for a ported box in a car? Ports are facing same side as speakers.

Thursday, January 17, 2008 - 19:14 GMT there is a formula and a website for this, but IMO if your seats can go down, then facing the front of the car, if they can't facing away. I've heard set ups both ways and the way i just said sounded best TO ME but thats just my opinion

Thursday, January 17, 2008 - 19:29 GMT lol yeah. in my car it sounded better with the sub and port back. i had a box for a single 12 with aero ports firing to the side and the sub back. it was cool but i liked it both firing to the back.....chad
