i'm a newbie, i live in florida i know i need a dish 500, now, how many LNB and what type of LNB i need? also what satellite i need to pick up, the 119 or the 110 or both, i need help.
luis give more info to help you.what sat box.you can get a dish pro lnb which allows you to get both 110 and 119 with no need of adding any disque switch, will allow you to connect more than one receiver.when you get the antenna go to this site to angle your antenna easily.http://satcalculator.freehostia.com/
i have a cw800, but do i have to had both 119 and 110 or one is enough? please explain what LNB i need if i need to pick one sat or what LNB i need if i need to pick up two sat.
luis the more sats you add the more channel. with 110 and 119 you can get around 400-600 channels on dishnet.the picture on my post is good enough to get you both 110/119.give me you email and i can give info on a store near you to pick up what ever u need.
sorry but im so new with this, i see in that picture that all together there 4 output,i have one receiver, you mention i dont need a diseqc, so how i do the cable installation, where do i connect those 4 cable?
luis the four output on the lnb allows you to connect up to four receivers.each output goes to a different receiver.when you have single lnb you must run a disque switch to control them.this dual lnb comes with a switch inside already.
right now i got two LNBs, (not dual) each have two output so that mean i can use it but i need a diseqc correct? that way one is going to pick up 119 and the other one 110 correct?
i got confused, ok i got a DP twin LNB, one output in each side(two output all together) i run one single cable from one of those output straight to the receiver with out any switch and thats good enough to pick up both 119 and 110??? or i need any switch? also whats the different between a diseqc,sw21 and 22khz switch?
Luis, you and RTAP are correct. He is looking from behind the Dish. You were looking from behind the LNB's He was looking toward South. You was looking toward North.
