I think that they sound pretty good right now, but when I crank it up, they feel tight or something. They dont sound distorted or anything, but like they are tight or something. I have a nice Alpine HU, so I don't think that they are underpowered. Do they take a little while for them to break in? I mean do they start sounding better over time. Thats how some subs are, so I was just wondering of interior speakers are the same. |

In reality it probably put out 105 watts, its made by Pyle, never heard of them before. It has 2 rca inputs on the back and a bunch of wiring that apparently wires up to the deck. I got him down to $35 cash and told him I may be back. Stupid idea? Waste of money? |

They were selling tested return alpine 220s on ebay lately might be gone, they and many others go for $30-50. That little amp would be much better than a HU. Amps are big for a reason compared to a HU. Pyle, pyramid, lanzar (not the opti), legacy, and others are all same company. You get what you pay for, and the cheap amps have bogus ratings. Look on ampguts at any good brand name amp that is 100w x2 RMS and figure how all that stuff would fit in the pyle for $35... any rating not RMS means nothing, and you must have the voltage they rated it at to get the power. |

This is my girlfriends ride, but I'm always in it. I am going for SQ only in this car. Right now, it's phenominal. I just wants to give the type S's a little more. Price is not really an issue. But, I don't want to pay a bunch for a 4ch amp. I will take a look at ebay again and keep my eyes open. I have 2 6.5 componets and 2 6x9 memphis 3 way references in my lexus. I was lucj and found a 4 channel memphis amp on Craiglist for $50 and it was practically brand new. Hopefully I find another good deal like that. Thanks though. |
