Well I am wanting to have a backup plan on what to get next. I am running 2 infinity kappa 12" on that 1600a Class D infinity Reference amp. Its only 600 @ 2ohms and like 896 max, but I am wanting to know what I should put in her car next since I drive it the other half of the time. Good SQ good SPL and about $350 budget. Thanks

Is that for sub itself? Do you plan on using the same amp? I'd advise selling the kappas and amp and add that to the 350. You might be able to make some good money locally on those and then have a nice budget to shop around. Also, there are some great deals on these forums if you aren't opposed to buying used. Just make sure the person you are buying from is legit and has references.

I dunno, I have one w7 in my lex. I love it. I might just go with 2 JL AUDIO 12W3V3 because they r not that much and they are like 300 rms I believe. I just have never heard them.

True, but I just bought that amp and I like it so far. It's my girls Toyota Camry and she likes to bump, but not as hard as I like too, ha-ha. I'll keep the amp and get the use out of the infiniti's bc they sound great right now. But when they go out......that's the reason for this thread. Just wondern what I should get next in this situation from some car audio connoisseurs.

Yes, stay'n with two 12's for sure. I don't know that amp says something stupid on the box like 896 max power, which doesn't matter n e ways because the RMS is all that matters, which is 600 @ 2ohm.

Oh my sh!t sounds very clean...

Front-stage importance> Sub-stage importance...

Anywho...does your girl like ur kappa's?? If so just give her those...Honestly most chicks cant tell the difference in the way things sound anyway..lol

lol...true. That's what she has now. But when we get our use out of them, I'm either going to put my setup in hers or just get two new subs. That amp I got her is brand new, just got it 2 days ago.
