Wednesday, January 30, 2008 - 03:44 GMT 8 volts are awesome... haven't heard of many, hardly any, that have that. It means the amp won't have to work as hard which = good.

Wednesday, January 30, 2008 - 05:28 GMT Hahaha 8 volts is not a great thing...... most amps can't even accept a signal that high. The higher the RCA voltage, the cleaner the signal. However the difference is almost not noticeable. 4 volts is plenty for any amplifier.

Thursday, January 31, 2008 - 06:01 GMT No, that amp only accepts up to 5 volts RCA input. You would need a line driver to actually reduce the RCA voltage.

Thursday, January 31, 2008 - 20:51 GMT Couldnt you just turn the subwoofer output down? like on alpines, pioneers..etc, the subwoofer output goes from -15 to + 6 i believe.

Friday, February 01, 2008 - 02:24 GMT You could but would have to remember not to turn it up past that point. And then what do you do for your speaker amp?

Friday, February 01, 2008 - 02:28 GMT I called kicker they said that i should not be a problem make sure to not over push it and that the only thing it will reach it maximum point at a lower level of volume, instead of cranking it all the way up . So basically just keep it within in the amps limits and see everything correctly and i will be fine.
