I didn't drive my car for about three months while I went out of state for school. When I came back the battery was dead. I tried jumping it and the car would crank but it wouldn't start. I took the battery out and had it tested and it turns out the battery was a goner. I got a new battery, put it in the car but now the car won't even crank. The lights come on and I can use the radio and everything but the car just won't start.
I'm using a Clifford IntelliGuard 800 IQ and I'm thinking that removing the battery caused the alarm to kill the starter. Does that sound correct? Any suggestions on how I can get my car to start? A million thanks to anyone that responds!
