but if you have specific question, i can attempt to help you out. i can't explain the whole thing cause there would just be too much to type. lol

ok here we go.

first of all, congrats on buying an awesome amp.

LPF & slope......well you know what lpf is right. you set it a frequency you want your subs to play up to. example, if you set it to 80hz then it will play any frequencies below 80hz. the slope is how steep or wide you want to roll off. i usally set it at 12db. but if you want a steeper slope, 24db is good.

HPF & slope.......this is your subsonic filter. you set it to a frequency you don't want your amp to play below. and i explained to you what slope is above.

EQ BASS/CUT,BANDWITH,FREQUENCY......this is basically your bass boost and eq. i would just disable this. you can play around with it to see what you like. for me i like to make it as natural as possible.

Gain bandwidth.......you should see voltages on the screen. if your headunit is 2v then you set that to 2v and so on. i like to set mine a little below my headunit's preout voltage. example, if my hu's preout is 4v, i like to set the gain bandwith to 2v.

Gain.....you set that to match the voltage output of your head unit. its like the gain bandwidth is the gain also and the gain setting would be to fine tune the gain after that.

ok on setting the gain i did this http://www.subwoofertools.com/forum/setgain.asp
the box the amp came with said it was doing 1430 rms and that is 37.8v and 1250 is 35.4v i don't even get to 30v with the gain all the way up if i put in a lil bass boost i can get to it?

what voltage is it reading?

also why don't you set the gain down and connect the subs and take a listen. see if the subs get loud.

DON"T play the test tone from your ipod. That is probably the problem. Burn it on a CD.

yeah that amp is tricky. but if you get used to it and learn what every setting does, the sq is nice.

what is also cool is if you get the wired remote. you can change all the settings from the front of you car.

also did you save your settings? that way you can try out other settings and if you don't like it, you can always go back to the way you had it with a touch of a button.
