In one of the thread someone said 2700 clone or converted 2500 to 2700 means the same thing. His logic is once converted from 2500 to 2700, it also become deemed clone.

While in another thread it is said
Pansat 2700 clone: Use 235v1 Tivo with loader 27.02

Pansat 2500/FLU converted to work like a Pansat 2700, use jvvh_235 or CS_235t_Lightning, with loader
BL updater 1.4

Can someone clarify the the difference between clone 2700 and converted 2700 from 2500?

This is needed for new people to understand so that correct Bin are loaded to their receiver instead of Killing the receiver.

Clarification from someone very much appreciated.

Thanks

A clone 2700 is any receiver manufactured to work like a genuine Pansat 2700. While a converted 2500 is still a 2500 but uses a special clone safe 2700 bin. So you would still treat the converted 2500 as a 2500 but use a 2700 bin.
