I am fed up with this defending of FTA receiver manufacturer. You think they be doing any coding at all if people only buying there box for FTA and they be in Business either???? Answer is no. Every on knows when a new person is buying the box why he is buying and manufacturers know it too and there is unspoken contract that the user is buying because they expect great support and quick bins. Viewsat and Other Box Manufacturers can try to Stop thats so caledd VOLUTARY For Help service and we will see how they survive. So enough of this testing and doing a favout kind of posts |

Perhaps there is an implicit expectation when you buy any STB that you may be able to use it, for a limited time, for other non intended (and totally illegal) purposes ....but neither you nor anyone on here can EXPECT free premium TV (PPV, XXX, etc) forever....furthermore what do you call people honestly paying for their monthly subscriptions? I know what they'd call you ! |

Silver Member Username: BrucesterPost Number: 919 Registered: Jul-06 | Aamir i think this is a contract in your head i do not no how you can think like that i do not no how told you that the company would have free bev and dish bins for as long as you box works and you will get a new bin in the new year if you do not like this up and down you can pay bev or dish and get tv with out whating for bins no down time and if you would of came to this site for the last month or so people have ben telling others not to get fta right now and if you have had you box for more then tow mounths it has pad for its self i no i watch 500 worth of tv a month all the ppv and p0rn and live ppv and all nhra nhl so i do not think the company owes me any thing |

Same analogy goes here. All the Companies no very well why there boxes are getting sold and it will not take them 2 Seconds to have a Box where it will be impossible to get BEV and DISh. So Why they Don't and if they don't then they are selling those boxes in the promise of getting those channels explicitly or implicitly its no hidden secret. So if you don't deliver on it you are ebing dishonest. Now in a Business of Dishonesty is there a place of honesty you can argue on that. |

There Whole Busienss Model is based on this and not on FTA only Sales. Most of them might not even survive with FTA only. Also they won't won't care a cent for us what they care is there future Business so if some one complains they do quite rightly. |
