I called today to find out about getting some programming from direct tv, from the people that programmed my friends hu card. They told me what I have to do, get the card no. and the receiver no. and the cost of it. I said to the lady I was talking to, yeah, I was thinking about waiting to program it but now I think that I'll just subscribe through you, besides, I said, who knows when we'll be able to program these cards. That's when she said, call tomorrow, you'll be able to program them starting on June 15th. just thought I'd share that with you, I'm in Canada, if that matters. Hey, just to let you know, I am pretty impressed with you all, you seem a very gifted bunch. for the Dave guy/people, I pay for cable, I'll pay to subscribe and I'll pay for the fun of programming too, it's a lot of money but I was told that it all goes to the right people because there were millions more cards made than there are dtv subscribers. If I see a movie i like, I'll buy it too. I can't win money wise, my kid's won't let me, I can have a movie on pay per view in the living room and my other kid will rent it and play it in his bedroom at the same time and then my wife will buy a copy and later on donate it to some shelter. hope you all enjoy this as I've enjoyed your posts. a non eh! moose |

All my people say just around the corner but the corner is now a long hallway that I am sick of walking down. I probably read as much as anyone in here but I haven't seen anything impressive yet for the p4. The only legit site I have seen and know about is 3moffshore. They have a ppv wiper programmer and ird unmarry. But It only works on your card 50 percent of the time. Its like 249. for the whole setup. Thats the only thing I am sure about. Same thing for p5's. Its all activation. But even if your ppv won't wipe you still have all the other movie channels. Something like a super showcard. Very tempted to do it. |

Anonymous | s'me again, hi. My friend has the Blackbird up and running, he isn't very happy. He prefers the dtv he had, but that's too bad I guess. He gets Bell xpressview and dishnet and hundreds of others that he says are no good and a waste of time. But, he has TV. Now as I told you, I called the people that sold him the Blackbird, the same ones that programmed the hu cards and they said again that the programming will be up and running on June 15th. So, I guess I'll wait and see, in the meantime though, their web site says that once you activate your Blackbird they will begin charging your account. That means that they are charging the same money monthly for the Blackbird that they charged for the programming of the hu cards which for this outfit was $20 a month. They owe me almost six months of programming which I paid for just before it shut down. So if I bought a Blackbird and activate it they will charge me against my credit from before. I don't think it's worth it at all, not after I have to buy the bird and install it, they're just raking in the loot if you ask me. another thing about that Blackbird, I seen one advertised as *Pre March* as if that was a big deal, I don't know what the difference would be but it might be worth looking into if you were buying one. a non eh! moose |

dss dork Unregistered guest | silent listner......first of all you have to know if your cable co has there movie channels and pay-per-veiw on digital channels the way you know that is channels 1-88 are analog and anything above that is digital if it is there is no way right now to descramble it at this time but if your catv co is still on analog you can purchase a descrambler.you can get a add on descrambler(2peice) or you can purchase a converter/descrambler(1 peice).there are also filters you can put behind your digital box but you have to subcribe to catv but when you order pay-per-veiw the filter supposedly blocks the oreder from being sent to the head end in result yo have free pay-per-veiw....note use this filter at your own risk....hope that answered your question |

You'll give them the numbers own back. they'll activate it. Send you a boot board programmed for that card and is activated through the boot. 200 dollar spending limit. Also you'll get an iso programmer and the info to get the ppv wiper. My understanding is being it is activated it will be a long time for destruction occurs. I had one of these showcards before for hu. It didn't have ppv but had everything else. That activated card lasted for little over 3 years. It was my backup for 3ms when they were down. Plus older people who don't like ppv and just want something close too cable this was perfect 100 bucks and 6 month guarantee I made a fortune. Too bad hu is gone. |

I live in LA so everything here (almost I think except Long Beach)is digital so we are screwed let me know if you need some scientific atlanta or jerrolds (general instrument) both analogs i have some that still work but they are obsolet here ...i was going to send some to friends in mexico they work beatiful there.. NEED TO KNOW : im in LA so Im sorry I cant help you but it seems I wouldnt been able to help regardless you must have cable running by your house either underground or aerial (poles) ... JOHNSSMITH : I have not seen them as yet but I havent ask my fellow installers give me a couple of days and I should have some info on them.. |

DSS Man Unregistered guest | I've seen a working P4 card! I don't know exactly how it was done, but it may involve, when programming the card, the reciever model# and serial#. I;m also an installer and I've hooked up a lot of the Black Birds. The biggest downfall to them is there is no program guide for D-Net which posses a big problem for most viewers. The other thing is when it rains, it won't pick up the signal. My best advise to anybody who wants to get free TV is to go with D-Net. It has better adult movies! |

DSS Man Unregistered guest | Texpal, The best D-Net recievers to buy are the 5000, 6000 and 7000 models. They are expensive but the reciever never gets hit. If you want to be more cost effective, the 301 are great but you'll need to istall a lock in the reciever to prevent from being hit. If you decide to go with a 301, make sure it does not come with a Rom11 card. These recievers will not work Rom2,3,10 or atmegs unless you change or reprogram one of the chips inside the reciever. Hope this helps. |

DSS Man Unregistered guest | John4949, The reason these receivers don't get hit is because they have Microsoft software in them. Patent regulations prohibits d-net from altering that software. THEY REALLY DO NOT GET HIT! Do some more research and you'll see. |

New member Username: BootleggerPost Number: 1 Registered: Apr-04 | i'll tell you what i'm doing, till a good compromise come out for the p4. i had a p4 activated by dave. then after activation, i order the premium cannels. as soon as the channels came up i inserted the card in my boot strap. been up an running for 6 weeks. oh i forgot to say that you do it on dave's web site. don't forget to cancel the premium cannels after you plug in your boot strap. This will have to do till they break the card. |

dss dork Unregistered guest | another option you have is spending 20,000-30,000 on a scientific atlanta head end buffer configure it to work with your pc and hit your own boxes few years back a man in texas was selling one i dont know how he got his hands on one but more power to him....same thing with digital cable boxes the catv co sends signal to control what you watch meaning if you pay for hbo cine show etc they turn it on from there they also turn it off from there when they send a signal to turn it off it is called a "bullet" if you remember back when black boxes where working during a major event for example tyson fight the first 2or 3 minutes the picture would get scrambled and back to normal its because they were sending bullets and if your box was not"bulletproofed"it turned the eprom in there totally off in result you have a 6 pound paper weight.anyways there are things out there ethier you solder in you converter box or a add on bullet proof filter that you can install behind your converter.once again you order all your movie channels after you ordered it you install your "bulletproof" filter behind your converter and then you call up and ask to cancel your movie channels and when they send the bullet to turn it off it will have no effect on your convereter |

Just goes to show, fraud is easier than free TV. I've been following this thread for some time, and I like to think that Walter is being truthful (In which case, thanks for the site name) but I still need more assurance. Time will tell. On another note, definitely watch what you post here. The P3 Death/P4 Birth thread comes up as the third result in a Google search for "P4 smartcard" and Dave isn't completely stupid. davehater Unregistered guest | you have to have and address and and telephone number in the US ...if you have friends here in the US they can set up an account and send you the receiver ..probably it wont work it would be call ext 711 but the account holder can call and tell the directv operator that its not working they are going to hit it over the phone and it will work in a sec. no big deal ... (be ready with the model # and access card # and the location of the receiver you know bedrooms, living room ..always say bedroom ..they might also ask if this was install proffesional or yourself you can say whatever if you say pro make up 4 digits )of course you have to install the dish first... i have some para todos dishes so let me know (dual lnb)and also some high definitions good luck ........and costa rica rules (best place to surf in the world) |

There is a new programmer coming out like I was told also. But excitingly also the Mikobu lll M6.2 is going to be able to be flashed to program clean and unloop the p4 and p5 cards. Sadly though they are not sure how long it will be before the flash is available but will work with the Mikobu and Also the Detonator XP. The catch is the new programmer will come out before the flash does. Who would have ever thought. The new look date for a fix is June 15 but like in the past don't hold your breathe just wait and see. Until Thursday time for me to leave and go to work. ttyl. |

One set has a short cable marked "To TV" and a socket marked "Cable in". WHAT cable? Is that the cable from my dish? The other set has a single, unmarked socket; what do I do with that one? Anti_Dave_Tv_2004 Unregistered guest | June 15th is the new date, P4 has been cracked and is working with all chanells wide open , the thaught is it will be up and running for about 6 months before dave starts sending ECM's and looping cards,also minor fixes must be made to the cards and a new prog/looper wil be available so i hope ..I am ecstatic about all of this news as im sure we all are ,also happy with myself for living with cable tv till this was ready again ..If anyone knows where to get this gear post as soon as possible , as i will do the same ....man we get it back finally !!! woo hooo <eg> |
