Monday, December 31, 2007 - 20:13 GMT you must stop it to watch...if you did that im sorry for sayin it :p but its in mpeg format uncompressed it played fine on windows media player (11 i think) if doesnt work for you try google search for media player classic (this thing plays everything)

Monday, December 31, 2007 - 20:16 GMT Sada, What is the file extension of the video file re: .wmp .mpeg .txt .html the stuff at the end of the file name is the extension So I can go see what all players will play it..

Monday, December 31, 2007 - 20:18 GMT one more question.. on my rec... dchppp/static.. when i am recording does it need to be static or dchp ip adress,, 192.................... subnet mask 255.................... gateway.192............ pvr serv. ip adresss........its different too... isn't it should be same as ipadress. and i will try vlc and post results..

Monday, December 31, 2007 - 20:36 GMT sada....the box has an ip like 192.168.0.100 and the pvr (your computer) has an ip like 192.168.0.101...102....103...etc.... best to do is make it static on both so that they never change pvr server will have different ip

Monday, December 31, 2007 - 21:26 GMT all will work its video in so you output say from svideo or component and record straight as far as clarity...mine showed exactly as on tv perfectly i dont know why you are having so much trouble with it? i am very happy with pvr my internet is fast and maybe it may help a little since i have 18 megabit maybe try a hub
