Tuesday, June 01, 2004 - 04:27 GMT 400 watts max or RMS? Mono amps are preferable to 4 channels in most applications.

Tuesday, June 01, 2004 - 17:09 GMT it says 400 watts on speaker and thats all. they are some bumpers and i know they are cheap but they hit really hard and proved themselves wrong. i had a formula 600 watt 4 channel amp and it hit very hard. but now that amp is dead. just needed some suggestions on sub amps. ones that definitly don't get hot and turn off..

Wednesday, June 02, 2004 - 03:57 GMT What kind of subs are they? You need the RMS rating of the sub to match the amp the best. Don't go by max ratings, they're crap.
