The SX IMO would be better SQL than the BL although the BL may get louder peaking at a higher note but I'd bet the SX would get louder lower :-)

But that would be a question for chauncey since I do not own both.. loved my SX though.. only drawback is it did get sloppy on fast beats when I played rock.. the more power I put on it though the better it got

dont get me wrong the alpha is a monster..and a great alternative to the SX or BL..but 100-1500rms i would take the SX or BL..1500rms+ Alpha no contest

I wouldnt throw anything less then 1800rms to a Alpha..any less and get one of the other 2..and Kevin the BL(fully louded) is louder then a SX.not sure on a meter tho.(both on a Kicker SX1250.1)...And u are right the low end would go to the SX

All 3 are more geared toward spl then sq...but all 3 can sound amazing in the right enclosure...

I love all 3 :-)

well for now i'm gonna be using a sony amp rated at 900 watts at 2 ohms i know sony sucks but i'm getting it on a trade so its not too bad better than nothing. but later i want to get something like a rockford 4k and hook it up to the both and run 2k to each sub.

i wish bro but at the moment i'm broke from purchasing the second SX and the only reason i'm going with sony is because the guy agreed to trade me for my like new panasonic stereo its pretty nice color screen 3D graphics 3 tilt motorized faceplate built in EQ i love that HU but since i'm gonna put the system in my new Pontiac i just got i'm gonna use the stock HU so i dont need it.

well it's a v1 so the rms is 1500, so ~1100 wrms is good enough for now, until I can afford another amp or a larger one:-)

Well, my friend is looking for an amp so I can ask him how much he wants to pay. By the way my area code is 61536 (central illinois), so if I throw you a price, you can have a mental idea for shipping. How is the physical condition? How old? I'll hit you back up if he's interested.
