Hey, I'm looking for an amp to power the kappa perfect 10.d. I don't have it yet, but from recomendation thats the one I will get. Here are the specs:
General MSRP U.S. $ 329.95 Power Handling, Peak 1400W Power Handling, RMS 350W Sensitivity 94dB (In Car) Frequency Response (± 1.5dB) 18Hz - 150 Hz Frequency Response (±3dB) 18Hz - 150Hz Impedance 2 or 8 Ohms Mounting Depth 6"
I worka at circuit city, and we have special pages for polk and infinity car stuff with deep discounts... so I'll post a few amps that we get a good deal on right here, from lowest price for me to highest.
Infinity REF7520A 260 Watt 2-channel power amplifier
Infinity REF7540A 520 Watt 4-channel amplifier
Infinity REF310A 300 Watt Subwoofer Amplifier
Infinity REF610A 600 Watt Class D Subwoofer Amplifier
Out of those, I am thinking either the REF7520A or REF310A. Here are the specs on both of those:
REF7520A CEA Rated Yes Power Output 97 watts RMS x 2 channel at 4 ohms and ? 1% THD + N 142 watts RMS x 2 channel at 2 ohms, 14.4V supply and ? 1% THD + N Signal-to-Noise Ratio 83 dBA (reference 1 Watt into 4 ohms) Dynamic Power 190 watts at 2 ohms Effective Damping Factor 6.389 at 4 ohms Frequency Response (-3dB) 10Hz to 69kHz (-3dB) Maximum Input Signal 5.5V Maximum Sensitivity 240mV Output Regulation .078 dB at 4 ohms MSRP U.S. $ $229.95
REF310A CEA Rated Yes Power Output 116 watts RMS x 1 channel at 4 ohms and ? 1% THD + N Signal-to-Noise Ratio 81 dBA (reference 1 watt into 4 ohms) Dynamic Power 347 watts at 2 ohms Effective Damping Factor 6.398 at 4 ohms Frequency Response (-3dB) 17Hz to 302Hz (-3dB) Maximum Input Signal 6V Maximum Sensitivity 250 mV Output Regulation .05 dB at 4 ohms MSRP U.S. $ $374.95
Alright, I might as well tell you that I get the REF7520A for 84 dollars and the REF310A for 127, between the two and anything else that might be better, and considering that I want to pay as little as possible. Which would be the best for just one sub. (the kappa 10.d)
