I have a 300watt RMS mono (2 ohm stable) amp, and I am wondering what entry level subs to get. I'm looking for 2 10" subs, and like to listen to rock, rap...you name it. What are some decent price wise subs to start off with. I've been looking at the kicker comp, MTX 6000, Infinity 1030W and such. Opinions and replies are thanked in advance!

kicker CompVR's are alright, I'd try a JL W0 or look at Concept if you have a place that sells them, great sounding subs for a good price

Remember, my amp is 2 ohm stable. I'm only finding 8-OHM kicker CVR's. Would I be able to get them down to two ohms? And they are 300watt RMS, so would I be able to run two of them off my mono 300RMS without them sounding like A SS?

Try 2 12" Kicker Comp subs. They each only need 150 RMS and if you get two of the 4 ohm model then you will have 300 RMS and and a 2 ohm load. These subs put out a good amount of bass and sound alright.

dave did you even read what i said?

2 10" hed10svc subs, single 4 ohm subs wired paralell get 2 ohms - each handles 150w rms, 300w at 2 ohm with both subs - perfect match

each sub runs for about $45 online, and they will not dissapoint you...

trust me, ive looked around at so many types and kinds of subs in the past 10 months, its rediculous

Yah, I read what you said, but my question was mainly directed to knowing if two 300watt RMS kickers would sound like A SS from my amp. I'll probably pick up the cerwin's though. sound good, look good, and are a bargain. thanks for the input bacon.....much appreciated.
