I think this is the reason my sub isn't working. My friend said I needed a cap or Head on the remote wire to fit into the amp properly. My Amp is a 760watt Sony Xplod My Sub is some Quest 10" My Deck is a Sony Xplod CDX-GT610UI http://www.lightav.com/car/sony/amp/xm2150gsx.jpg http://www.lightav.com/car/sony/amp/xm2150gsxside.jpg the remote wire goes into the slot on the left of the high level input. sorry for the bad pics but the wire just goes into a hole and you press the yellow button to get it in better. The wire will go in but it wont lock. But even with tape holding it in but it still doesn't work. |

Anyway, if anything, the wire size your a re using is very small and the terminal wont catch onto it. Try stripping about 1/4 to half an inch off the wire, then keep overlapping the wire to make it thicker. This should make it hold better inside the terminal. |
