I'm looking to upgrade from my old subs once summer starts. I was originally looking at 2 12" Kicker L7's, but by the time it was all installed, box and everything, it might be a little above my budget. I know Audiobahn sucks real bad, but I'm trying to get a grip on just how bad. Would the 2 Kicker solobaric L5's be a better buy than 2 Audiobahn AW1205Q's? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
I would probably go with the Kicker's over the Audiobahn's. Audiobahn don't hold up well... I've heard several of the solobaric L5's, they're not bad if the install is done well.
Yea go with the 12" L5. The only dif between L7 and L5 is power handling for the most part. Get 2 12" L5 and you should be plenty happy with them. Audiobahn are as someone once said "Chromed out pieces of crap!"
