Anyone,
I have 2 reciever (Captivework 600s premium and Ariza 700, I would like to set them up in my 2 different rooms. Can some one please tell me what do I need to do hardware wise ? So normally on one TV I have 3 connections on the reciever :
1) Connection from the LNBs
2)Connection from the CABLE
3) Connection b/w reciever and TV.

How can I split this to work in 2 rooms and what extra piece of H/W I need ?
Thank you very much for your help.

Ariza 700: A mere splitter will not do it, because you will be forced to view the same channel in the two rooms.

Only one Sat scanned
You need a dual LNBs (NOT twin). The two outputs are connected to two rooms and two receivers can view different channels at the same time.

More than one Sat scanned.
Method 1. If you have more than one Sat, you buy a dual LNB for each Sat and process the outputs though two separate DisEqC switches. One output from each LNB will go to one switch and the other outputs from each LNB will go though the other switch.

Methid 2. If you have DN LNBs and want to retain, the problem gets a bit more complicated and you will need to use DP34 switch which is 3 input 4 output switch. These switches can be troublesome with FTA receivers, but you can if you make sure you power them adequately by having a special power supply to output port 1 or by keeping BOTH receivers ON all the time even if one is not in use.

Thanks folks for your replies. I have 2 LNBs (One for southasain channel and one for American Channels) these LNBs are connected through a DisEqC switch and than it goes to my CWS600P reciever. Now I have a spare Ariza700 and was hoping to connect that in other room. Let me know
