Can someone tell me what transponders have the stronger signals for amc4, echo 110, echo 119 and 118.7?
Thanks.
Sorry but new at this. Trying to install my first dish (33") to get all the sats with 3 different Lnbs.

wow you are trying to do a hard install.

http://www.dishpointer.com/ to find were to point and all settings on the antenna

What is your lnb's?

I have installed alot of 31" dishes so I will help

you would be better off with a motor with only 3 lnb's you are missing 15 sat's and about 1000 channels..

Individual transponders have not much to do with your antenna set up. If your dish is aimed correctly for a particular satelite you should have a high signal quality. So, your dish should be aimed so that you have high signal qualities on all sats.

Thanks for the answers, but I have a few more questions.
I checked dishpointer for the multi lnbs setup and there is 2 set ups that I think can be use.
one the set up for direct tv with 3 lnbs for 101, 110 and 119;
the second one is for 4lnbs (91,101,110 and 119); elevation 31.1 degrees, azimuth (true) 220.5, magnetic 231.3 and a lnb skew of 0.
What would be the best setup?
The bracket that I have is one of those that can be adjusted up/down right/left.
What are the distance (horizontal and vertical)between lnbs?
what are the position for the lnbs?
I think that is 119/118.7, 110 in the centre and 101 when looking from behind the dish. Is this correct?
Sorry for so many questions.

I will try to help..
their is Only one setting as far as direction and tilt that will allow you to receive a satellite.

The #'s representing the satellites position in the belt go up going west and down going east. 119 is west of 110. 81 is east of 110 and so on..

What is your lnb's?

Regarding the lnbs; I have a digiwave DGL990d dss dual lnbf for amc4, a qsat 88-1010 lnb for 110 (used to get 121 on it and a twin circular for 118.7/119.
Hope this is the info that you ask for.
And once again, Thanks for the help.

settings for 118 are the same as for 121.
All my reference post's to help with this are locked with total being locked up now...

You set 118 up using the liner side of the lnb but with circular frequiency's. The transponders on that bird are week so expect low sig and quality.

I will find more info if you need it. What we do to point it is get 119 with the circular then change to the liner and get 118.
