Saturday, December 22, 2007 - 00:55 GMT onces again ideally most people will say that 2 12s power and enclosed properly will be louder due to the amount of surface area being large then that of a 15 inch woofer, but it also depends on the subs been compared for instance a pair of kicker cvr 12's aren't going to be louder then a fi btl ... specify what ur looking for... itll make it alot easier to help you out bud

Saturday, December 22, 2007 - 01:01 GMT well it says in ur profile u have a Ford Taurus, which has a huge trunk in it depending on ur subs an ideal tuning would be somewhere around the 32hz range ... which makes the woofer able to excel at different types of music. sealed well youd have to make the box the size that company recommends for their woofers

Saturday, December 22, 2007 - 22:02 GMT wouldn't it also depend on they type of music you listen to? if you only listen to rap music. wouldnt a 15 be able to hit the notes lower than 2 12s?

Saturday, December 22, 2007 - 22:29 GMT 2 12s would be louder in a properly made box but I always like single sub setups more. only 2 more db louder for twice the price. plus i like to look of just 1

Saturday, December 22, 2007 - 22:40 GMT That's a myth......... 2 12"s should be louder than 1 15" even on the low end.
