Copy&Paste

Units using IKS (Internet Key Sharing) such as Nfusion are running. That means it is connected to the internet and relies on an aux server to get its video authorization "keys" to the clients. It does'nt stream over the internet, but they are getting the keys from a open rom 102,103 application and then sending through IKS. You do expose yourself to giving your IP ADDY to those that want it to track you down though.

They can have My IP, but it's not mine!

Ever heard of AIRCRACK ? Google it OR BACKTRACK. All the tools of PENTESTING are on BACKTRACK.

There's more in the air for free than FTA

Don't have a Nfusion yet. Several people I know Have it and are very happy. I Have Captive Works products, I selected the CW800 over the Nfusion for the PVR function as the people I know that have the NFusion like the way the CW800 works in that regard better than the NFusion.

The NFusion is not perfect on IKS there are problems with short drop outs etc. But I have to say that the support for the NFusion so far has been second to none.

Captive Works does have the ability to do CARD SHARING, that may still be a option if the current state of events go much longer than a few more weeks that some say it will take to do a new emulation for FTA boxes.

After that time I will look again at a NFusion as so far their IKS seems to be the best. I just did not want to invest any more into the hobby until I get a better picture on the future of Mpeg4 and Better offerings of HD in the FTA arena.
