MY box is dead a week ago, when I turned it on from the back it just keep saying on and and I see dash on the display of the ultra and off again.

I could not connect it to the computer to upload factory bin. is there anyway I could do it with an USB? Thanks FTA community

start loading the bin with the loader with the box off....then turn the box on and it should reload the bin ...or se below

guys load the old PFTAUSW-071207U file in the ultra BEV is working fine it worked for me hope it help others

go to ftatalk then go to viewsat files go to vs ultra vs2000 then download from there

can anyone help me get the usb port on my viewsat ultra working?
It was working up to a week a go and now when i put the stick in the port sometime the sticks up and sometime i have to play with it.
But wind i go to the update screen and hi-light to usb button and click okay it only makes the tv screen flash.

Tom, shut the power switch off aat the back of the unit and turn back on. I have noticed that the latest Viewsat bins are flaky and a reboot sometimes solves the Menu issues.
