I am about to get a MP3 player. It will play MP3 and WMA files and has a fixed memory of 128Mb. Which file format is best to play back my music please, and which is the best bitrate - I am not a music whizkid and think that FM radio quality is the worst I would like to go.

both MP3 and WMA offer a variety of bit rates from 22kbps to full CD 320 Kpbs You can play either and the sound would be comparable. WMA have DRM built in though.
