its Not KEYS it's a algo issue dealing with the timing of execution times on map routines call that keeps callin the black screen of death into the house...
and EMUNATION has not been confirm working...on any 106's just 101's
Pulp: I do not htink I will give keys a rest till such time as the ID 0907 and 0106 are eliminated or brought in to user alterable area by the coders.
I alerted people here on Friday afternoon when DN 0106 changed and the DN ECM started soon after that. This morning BEV introduce new keys 01 for ID 0907 and activated them - earlier for certain areas and for whole of North America, this afternoon.
I have had the previledge of working on developing "Evaluate" function using assembler and C, and what is easy on interpreted code is damn difficult on compiled code, and that is what the coders are facing - what you people are calling "dynamic code" execution.
tell u what go grab uself a copy of winhex and u can edit all the DAMN keys u what in the bin themselves.... lets see where it gets you...
LINUX and EMUNATION user always have access to the keys since they are text file based... yet the suffer down times which each new ECM... So for that last time it's not the damn KEYS
interpreted code is damn difficult on compiled code
u get half credit for this... in the sense the converion is like that of porting a OS from one processor to another and yes thats hard..but Without real schematics of the card's implementation of ISO 7816, its a pretty difficult job to know what each (MAP) is doing and to date they have been using brute force attacks to figure out the routines inorder to adjust for the execution times it takes to process the map fuction which dn and veb have now begun to use in processing vid
As I said before. when th ecoders have solve the problem, they will have brought the new PIDs to the user - direct like the 0101 and 0901, and will be giving a few extra hex numbers to put in (in conjuction) for the benefit of the new MAP calls and the dynamic routines. That is the route the coder will most likely go for and will be an effective solution - part code and part brute force. When I see that in a new BIN then I will know that something similar to the breaking (or purchase) of Map57 last year. And I don't think the coders are far behind.
Nalin, Just a quicj question ! I have CW600S Premium and I have been setup for DishNetwork. I know the file is out for BEV (V1.62), Can I use the same hardware to see BEV chnnels, do I just need to change the keys ? what do I need to change in order to get all Indian channels ? thx for you help
Leines/Pulp Fiction/Nalin Ok...In order to use the BEV I will need to point my dish to different satellite. Please correct me if I am wrong, the difference b/w DN & BEV is following : 1) DN is American & BEV is canadian 2) Both point to different sats 3) One can use the same H/W for both D/N & BEV but will need to adjust the dish to point to right sat ? Thx for your help and co-operation
If your DN dish has 110/119W then you are almost setup. Swing the Dish 28 degrees to the East. A bit of vertical shift will be needed. The same LNB combo will work. Do new setup in Antenna setup (110W settings to 82w and 119 settings to 91 w).
Note that 1) BEV is down now and 2) 82W is mostly HD channels.
Hi, I wondered if all DN set went down. I have converted 2500a, It was working but not on PPV or the other channels. Now it completely says no signal ..Tried to to do Power scan, still no signal. Are all down?
I wouldnt switch from dn to bev at all!!! Read around the forums... bev is down most of the time now. If u are not that familliar with it, moving ur dish can be hard. Even if u do get bev... it will go down soon. DN much more stable now.
